General information

Registration for the Visualising Climate Conference 2026 is secured via payment of the respective conference fee. There is no waiving of the conference fees except for scientists receiving support.

The fee includes participation in the onsite meeting as well as lunch and coffee breaks. Participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements and expenses.

By submitting the online registration, the participants accept and agree to the Conference Terms and Conditions.

In accordance with current EU sanctions, we will not accept any payment of registration, abstract processing, or other fees from Russian or Belarusian institutions or banks paid on behalf of researchers based at or affiliated with them.

Conference fees

• The conference fees are at the amount of: 400 USD (general admission), 60 USD (student admission)
• Early registration rates apply for registrations and payment until 1 June 2026, please see here.
• Standard registration rates apply after the early registration deadline until 1 November 2026, 23:59 CEST.
• The conference fees can be paid by credit card only.
• Standard registration rates apply after the early registration deadline until 1 November 2026, 23:59 CEST. Early registration rates apply until June 1 2026.
• Onsite payments are not possible. All registrations must be processed and paid via the online registration form.

Letter of Invitation

Participants who require an official letter of invitation for visa purposes, to secure travel funding, or for administrative reasons should request this document no later than 15 September 2026 by completing the conference registration form. Requests received after this date may not be processed by embassies.

This invitation does not imply any financial support from the organisers. The organisers cannot provide or sign any EVE documents or guarantee letters. The invitation will only cover the period of the Visualising Climate 2026 Conference (4–6 November 2026) and the day(s) of travel.

A letter of invitation can only be issued to abstract authors and/or registered participants with a paid conference fees. Letters for accompanying persons, including family members, cannot be provided.

Instructions for online registration

• Please ensure you have read and understood the Conference Terms and Conditions, including but not limited to the cancellation policy and registration conditions provided on this website.
• All information should be entered using upper and lower case letters (e.g., Jane Smith).
• For participants from EU countries, a valid VAT ID of the institution is required for invoicing purposes. Organisations based in Italy are subject to Italian VAT regulations.
• You will have the opportunity to review and edit your registration details before completing payment.
• The maximum time allowed to complete the registration form is 60 minutes before the system times out.
• The latest versions of Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, and Edge are recommended for optimal use of the forms.
